Pastor Earnestine Blakley is a native of Steele, Missouri—located in the Missouri Boot Hill.  She currently resides in St. Joseph, Missouri with her husband, Charles; they have two adult sons—Charles Jr. and Andrew.

Pastor Earnestine Blakley is the Pastor and Founder of Hope Fellowship Church in St. Joseph, Missouri.  Pastor Earnestine—along with the help and support of her husband, Charles—founded this non-denominational church on June 4, 2009.  The mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others may know Him and make Him known through Evangelism, Worship and Discipleship.

Pastor Earnestine is also the founder and President of H.O.P.E. Outreach Ministries, Inc., founded on June 13, 1994.  (H.O.P.E. is an acronym for Helping Other People Excel.)  The mission of this outreach ministry is to help the hurting and the needy find hope and spiritual nourishment through God’s Word.  Pastor Blakley and numerous volunteers read storybooks to children at Apartment Complexes during the summer months.  During the school year, she arranges for students from local schools to visit the elderly in Nursing Homes so they can interact through games and conversation.  Some of the objectives are to promote literacy, build relationships, foster volunteerism, and to break down generational, socio-economic, cultural and denominational barriers.

Pastor Blakley taught in the St. Joseph School District for 14 years.  During the 1991-92 school year, she was named St. Joseph Teacher of the Year and the Missouri State Teacher of the Year.  She has served on the National Education Panel for Energizer Battery, the State Committee for America 2000, the State Commission on Performance, and the National Writing Team for the Environmental Protection Agency.  On April 20, 2011, she received the Roy Blunt Literacy Citation; on April 18, 2012, she received the Missouri Humanities Exemplary Community Achievement Award for Youth Literacy from the Missouri Humanities Council in Jefferson City, Missouri.

During her teaching career, she was named “Woman of Distinction” for the Midland Empire Girl Scout Council; she has been listed in the World’s Who’s Who of Women, and the Who’s Who in American Education; she was nominated for the Walt Disney American Teacher Awards and was a National Finalist for Project Self-Esteem.

Currently, Pastor Blakley has a weekly ministry on KQ2 TV every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and a weekly radio ministry on KSJI Radio 91.1 FM every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.  In foreign ministry, Pastor Earnestine has preached and ministered in Guatemala, Venezuela, and the Bahamas.
